The Abbey Travel Lodge is a small friendly motel conveniently located right next to Waikato and Braemar Hospitals and only 10 mins from Hamilton Airport.
All 10 of our spacious rooms are located on the ground floor with parking outside each unit. The new owners have refurbished 7 of the 10 units bringing the older style motel up to a higher standard with the tariff remaining the same. The family unit is yet to be refurbished but is already very comfortable and suits larger families sleeping 6 but can fit upto 10 people with extra beds added. All units have WiFi Internet access and are serviced daily. Continental Breakfast is available if required and pets are welcome by arrangement.

So grateful to owners of this home away from home Susie was so bubbly and caring and the unit was great with everything one needs in times of stress at Waikato hospital recommend to all. Clean,beds comfortable electric blankets older building but tastefully redecorated.
We stayed 2 nights while visiting a friend. Our unit was a little tired, but clean and comfortable, well situated to the hospital and convenience stores. Everything we needed was in the unit, we would certainly stay again..
Always stay at Abbey Lodge Motel when I am in Hamilton. Managers are great, Susie is a darling. Nothing is ever too much for them. This is an older Motel, but most of it has been refurbished Units always clean and tidy. Highly recommended..
Stayed for one night while visiting Waikato Hospital. Close to shops and hospital. Room was clean and tidy. We were offered a home cooked meal and this was appreciated after a long day travelling. Great Service.
We stayed for two nights with our two dogs and will come back to stay here, when we are next in Hamilton. Really convenient location and the room has everything we needed, lovely and clean and right next to the garden. Thank you too for the friendly, helpful service.
